About Me
Hi, my name is Rachel. I love dogs! As you can tell! I have 23 years experience with dogs. I knew, since I was a small child, that taking care of animals was my passion. I started my first animal care job in the year 2000. In 2007, I received my associates degree in Animal Care Specialist. I have many years experience working with and learning about dogs. I started Pawsitively Bliss at the end of 2013. I absolutely love working with and being around dogs!
I started working in boarding facilities when I was 15 Years old and worked with dogs ever since. I have experience with basic grooming, basic training, giving medications, etc. I have also volunteered with Carolyn at Wagtime Training and also the Manchester shelter. As of June 1, 2014 I am certified in the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid, and have an emergency kit made up that is always in my car.
I also, currently, work full time at a dog daycare in Lowell. Which is why I am now only available from about 10:45 am till 1:45pm mon-fri for dog walks or check in trips. I also have some availability for weekend sleepovers and care.
I plan to constantly further my knowledge on dogs. One day I hope to have an animal sanctuary. I believe in positive behavior reinforcement and positive experiences. I love dogs and I enjoy working with them very much. I also have experience with other pets, small animals, reptiles, amphibians etc. I love all animals, I am knowledgeable, dependable, caring and trustworthy. Rachel is awesome so work with and very knowledgeable on dogs and their needs. She walked my two boys for years. They loved her. Would highly recommended her services.
Megan Savard - January 28, 2020 - When I went away on vacation Rachel came and feed and played with my 3 cats and changed the box for me so I would not come home to a smell. she also sent me plenty of pictures while I was away so i knew they were happy.
I would highly recommend her for a Walker and pet sitter she's the best !!

Rachel is the best !! I feel so safe leaving Dakota with her, and she truly loves animals ! She gives me so many updates when she’s there, and is always on time. She also is great with communication, and is always trying to be as accommodating as possible. I would recommend her 100 times again!

Rachel is always on time, takes our dog for a walk no matter the weather, and sends us fun pictures and updates during each walk. We often dog sit our family members dogs too, so over the years Rachel has cared for three of our family members dogs as well. She has also cared for our rabbit when we go on vacation. We trust Rachel and know that she takes excellent care of our pets when we are away. We feel so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her!!!

I recently hired Rachel to watch my dog, Louie, while I went away for eight days. I can happily say my experience with Rachel was nothing short of exceptional . From day one Rachel was communicative with texts and pictures and affirmation that Louie was happy, healthy, and active! I felt through the entire experience that Rachel was taking very attentive care of Louie and my dog literally had a smile on his face when I picked him up at the end of the week. Rachel's prices are more than fair for the quality of care she provides and I would provide a genuine endorsement of her services to any pet owner! We feel lucky to have found Rachel !

2-23-14 - Cassandra Friend - I have known Rachel for 13 years and I have watched her interact with pets of all types. I can honestly say that I have seen the passion and love that she has given to these beautiful creatures and treats them as if they were her own. - Joe Moir - Rachel worked for me for over a year at my recycling company. She is very conscientious, responsible, and a hard worker. I have nothing but trust and respect for her and she always exceeded in any task that I gave her. She was friendly, smart, and a very valuable employee. She has education and experience with animals and often cared for my dog while at work. Although the dog was very shy, Rachel quickly won the dog's trust and did fabulously.
